Effective surveillance and subject location require more than a database search — they require trained investigators who know how to operate in the field without detection, document what they observe with precision, and produce reports that hold up in court. UACPI's field investigators bring federal law enforcement tradecraft to every operation.

Our principal investigator's FBI background in surveillance operations and complex investigations informs the protocols we apply to every field engagement. We conduct surveillance discreetly, legally, and with a clear chain of documentation from initial tasking through final report delivery. Every operation is planned, every observation is recorded, and every report is reviewed before it reaches the client.

Our locate services — commonly called skip tracing — are used by attorneys, creditors, family members, and individuals who need to find a person whose current whereabouts are unknown. We combine database research, OSINT analysis, and active field investigation to locate subjects who have deliberately obscured their location or simply fallen out of contact.

Surveillance engagements are conducted for a wide range of purposes: documenting insurance fraud, verifying activity claims in litigation, monitoring subjects in domestic matters, supporting asset recovery, and gathering field intelligence for corporate investigations. We operate across California, Arizona, Utah, and can coordinate operations in additional states when required.

UACPI also provides advanced technical surveillance capabilities including radio frequency (RF) heatmap detection and drone-based aerial analysis. RF heatmap detection identifies the presence, density, and movement patterns of wireless devices across a target area — useful for locating hidden transmitters, mapping communication activity, or detecting unauthorized surveillance equipment. Our drone analysis services deliver high-resolution aerial reconnaissance, site documentation, and movement pattern analysis for properties, facilities, and open-terrain operations where ground-level observation is impractical or insufficient.

Los Angeles and Orange County present unique surveillance challenges and opportunities. The density of the LA metro — from the San Fernando Valley to Long Beach, from Santa Monica to the Inland Empire — requires investigators who know how to operate effectively in urban environments, manage vehicle surveillance on congested freeways, and adapt to the diverse neighborhoods and settings that characterize Southern California. UACPI's investigators are experienced in the specific operational demands of the LA and Orange County markets.

In San Diego, surveillance operations frequently involve subjects who move between the city, suburban areas, and the border region. Our investigators are familiar with the San Diego operational environment and can conduct surveillance across the county — from downtown and Mission Valley to Chula Vista, El Cajon, and Escondido — with the discretion and professionalism that sensitive matters require.

Phoenix and the broader Arizona market present a different operational environment — lower population density in many areas, extreme heat conditions, and a sprawling metro geography that requires careful operational planning. UACPI's Arizona-licensed investigators understand these conditions and plan surveillance operations accordingly. We serve clients throughout Maricopa County, including Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, and Gilbert, as well as Tucson and the surrounding region.
